Hay Saturday Morning // Introduction to Watercolour Art Class (Sign Up List)
Tap into your inner artist with this informal art class. Part art class, part social, and 100% delightful. Iin this series of classes I’ll take you through the basics of watercolour, we’ll cover a range of techniques, composition, colour theory, values and help you to see like an artist would. For beginners and those more familiar with the medium alike, these classes are designed to improve your skills, meet new people, and chat away with other creatives.
You don’t need any experience to join and I’ll teach you how to use watercolour to create beautiful paintings. We’ll cover a range of skills and techniques in watercolour with the aim of providing you with the knowledge to paint at home.
Classes will run Saturday mornings 10 - 12 pm commencing Saturday June 28th (venue to be confirmed). If you’d like to join the class please do use the sign up button below. This is a new class so I’m running a sign-up list, once minimum numbers have been met I’ll launch the class. You won’t be charged at this point but rather your place will be reserved, I’ll then pop out payment details before the class commences.
If you’d like to try the class before purchasing your own materials, you can purchase paint and paper at the class for an additional £3 per session. Do let me know ahead of time if you would like materials provided. If not, you’ll need to bring along watercolour brushes, 300gsm water colour paper and watercolour paint. I’ll provide palattes and water jugs. I’ll also pop you out a recommended materials list so you can be sure you’ll have the right materials ahead of time.
You can also gift a class to a creative loved one. Please head to the Art Classes tab on the main menu and scroll down to The Gift Of Art Voucher, the receiver will then be able to choose a class that suits them.
